SARRALLE Processing Lines celebrates its latest Final Acceptance Certificate for the New Slitting Line installed in North American Stainless (NAS),  Acerinox Group. This was the second major contract that SARRALLE was awarded in the United States after reaching an agreement with Arcelor Mittal and Nippon Steel Corporation ( AM / NS Calvert ) to supply a completely new steelmaking plant in Alabama.

SARRALLE Processing Lines has installed a new fully automated state-of-the-art Slitting Line for the processing of coils manufactured at NAS’s facility in Kentucky.

Production Details

SARRALLE has designed and manufactured a new Slitting line for NAS (from 0.4 to 3.0 mm thick), capable of processing coils up to 35 Tn allowing NAS to increase its plant output. To maintain the project tight schedule, SARRALLE has worked simultaneously in its Azpeitia ( Spain ) manufacturing facilities to modernize equipment coming from Acerinox France (dismantled and transferred to Azpeitia for renovation) along with the design and construction of the SARRALLE’s new machinery, including the manufacture ot the new electrical control cabinets.

SARRALLE has also executed the installation , assembly services (mechanical, hydraulic and electrical) and comissioning of the new Slitting Line. This new line is a fully automated line , with a new PLC and a Level II interface to the existing ERP at NAS, thus ensuring the best product quality of the line. This new investment further consolidates NAS as a leading manufacturer of stainless steel for products and services of the highest quality and reaffirms SARRALLE as an ally for large steel manufacturers worldwide.
